BTS2 combines 295 nm narrowband UVB with 630 nm Red and 850 nm Near-Infrared light. Solar X expands to 10 wavelengths — including UVA, violet, blue and amber — organized into 11 preset programs, and can be set up on a tabletop, a door mount or a VESA monitor arm.
Both combine UVB, Red and Near-Infrared light. BTS2 is the full-size panel with a double distance sensor. LITE is the compact, 4 lb version with a top switch to change between UVB and Red/NIR modes, designed for smaller spaces and travel.
The Sperti Vitamin D Sunlamp uses four UVB bulbs and weighs about 11 lb, according to sperti.com. Mitolux LITE uses LEDs rated for 20,000 hours, weighs 4 lb and adds Red and Near-Infrared light to UVB in the same device.
Mitolux devices are consumer wellness light devices and are not marketed to raise vitamin D levels or to address a deficiency. Solar X, BTS2 and LITE include narrowband UVB, the range of ultraviolet-B light also present in sunlight, and individual responses to UV light vary widely with skin type, exposure and other factors. If you are concerned about your vitamin D levels, talk to a healthcare professional — a blood test is the only way to know them.
Yes. Protective eyewear is required whenever a UVB or UVA mode is active on Solar X, BTS2 or LITE. SpectraFill™ For Monitor is not a UVB device. Always follow the warnings and precautions in the User Manual.

Mitolux UV devices are for adults 18 and older. Do not use UV modes if you have a diagnosed UV light allergy or sensitivity, a history of skin cancer, or take photosensitizing medication, and consult a health professional first if you are pregnant or have any medical condition. The User Manual lists all contraindications.
