Deep Violet

Neuropsin · OPN5

Stimulates neuropsin (OPN5), a violet-light receptor whose peak sensitivity sits precisely at 380nm — found in the eye, skin, and brain. Research links violet light at this wavelength to healthy refractive development of the eye, and identifies OPN5 in the body's light-based regulation of circadian rhythm and metabolism.

Violet

Encephalopsin · OPN3

Completes the violet band that screens omit and reinforces OPN5 signaling. It also reaches the range of encephalopsin (OPN3), a light receptor found in the skin — studied for its role in light-driven skin and metabolic regulation when exposed to ambient violet light during the day.

Works at the level of the mitochondria — the cell's energy producers. In research, a single brief morning exposure to 670nm light was associated with improved color-contrast vision lasting approximately one week, attributed to enhanced mitochondrial function in retinal cells.

Near-Infrared

Photobiomodulation range

Cytochrome c oxidase · NIR core

The most studied wavelength in photobiomodulation research. At 810nm, light is absorbed by cytochrome c oxidase in the mitochondrial membrane, where it is believed to support cellular energy production. The longest wavelength in the SpectraFill™ spectrum — and the deepest-penetrating. At 830nm, near-infrared light reaches below the skin surface and is studied for collagen support and cellular recovery. In Invisible Mode, 830nm is active with no visible light emitted — working silently while you work.

SpectraFill™ PM-01 is a monitor-mounted Spectrum Bar™ that combines six selected wavelengths — 380, 405, 670, 760, 810, and 830 nm — in one compact screen-based light system with three operating modes.
The product uses two integrated counterbalance clips designed to position the Spectrum Bar™ above compatible monitors (24" and above, bezel 1–3 cm) and laptop displays. Tool-free installation in under 10 seconds — no adhesives or screws required.
The six-channel system includes 380 nm, 405 nm, 670 nm, 760 nm, 810 nm, and 830 nm — spanning visible violet, deep red, and near-infrared wavelengths. Each was selected based on biological interest at that specific wavelength range.
Day Mode activates all six wavelengths and is designed for morning through evening use. Night Mode shifts to red and near-infrared only — wavelengths that do not suppress melatonin. Invisible Mode operates on near-infrared only, with no visible light output, suitable for color-critical work and all-day passive use.
Near-infrared wavelengths (760, 810, and 830 nm) sit outside the visible range of the human eye. In Invisible Mode especially, the lamp may appear switched off while continuing to operate. A lack of visible glow does not indicate that the NIR channels are inactive.
The PM-01 uses a USB-C connection rated at 5V / 2A. It is compatible with any standard USB port, wall adapter, or USB-C power source. No proprietary cable or power brick is required.
SpectraFill™ PM-01 includes a 24-month limited warranty from Preferred Mitolux Inc. For warranty terms, refer to the product documentation included in the package.
