Limited Warranty

Mitolux LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this limited warranty (“Warranty”) to customers (“you” or “your”) who have purchased our products. This Warranty covers the specific product(s) you purchased from us, subject to the terms and conditions below.

Warranty Coverage

Mitolux LLC warrants that its products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of Two (2) years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, Mitolux LLC, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, will: (1) repair the product using new or refurbished parts, (2) replace the product with a new or refurbished product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product.

Warranty Conditions

To be eligible for this Warranty, you must be the original purchaser and have purchased the product directly from Mitolux LLC or an authorized Mitolux LLC distributor or reseller. This Warranty is not transferable.

This Warranty covers only defects in materials and workmanship, including any failure to meet product specifications, as set forth in the applicable product documentation.

Important — Misuse and Safety Compliance: This Warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, or operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Mitolux LLC. It also does not cover any consequences resulting from misuse or failure to follow instructions, including failure to read and follow the applicable user manuals and protocol guidance, or failure to maintain recommended safe distances and eye protection.

Safe Use Reminder

For safe operation, users must read and follow the applicable documentation:

✅ Safe distance by mode

• UVB: 15–20 inches (38–50 cm)
• Healing: 6–12 inches (15–30 cm)
• Important: Never closer than 6 inches in any mode.

✅ Eyewear

• UVB mode: Protective eyewear is required.
  • Orange lenses → daytime UVB sessions (to support circadian rhythm)
  • Dark lenses → nighttime UVB sessions (to avoid circadian disruption)
• Other modes (Healing, Fireplace, Gamma): Eyewear is not required if you do not look directly at the lamp and you maintain the safe distance. If you experience eye discomfort, eyewear is strongly recommended (preferably orange lenses for comfort).

How to Obtain Warranty Service

If you believe you have a valid warranty claim, please contact us at +1 888 986 1012 or support@mitolux.com. We may require proof of purchase. We will provide instructions for returning the product and may require that you return the product to us. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to us.

Warranty Disclaimer

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES PROVIDED HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, STATUTORY, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MITOLUX LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, INCLUDING THOSE ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO: (A) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT; (B) MISUSE OF THE PRODUCT OR FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE USER MANUALS, SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS, PROTOCOL GUIDANCE, RECOMMENDED SAFE DISTANCES, OR EYEWEAR REQUIREMENTS; OR (C) ANY UNAUTHORIZED MODIFICATION, REPAIR, OR ALTERATION OF THE PRODUCT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL MITOLUX LLC’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PRODUCT OR THIS WARRANTY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Exclusions and Limitations

This Warranty does not cover any non-Mitolux LLC products or services. Mitolux LLC does not warrant that operation of the product will be uninterrupted or error-free. This Warranty is limited to the purchase price of the product.

Applicable Law and Venue

This Warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Texas and the United States of America. Any dispute arising under or in connection with this Warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in Dallas, Texas.
