Mitolux products may emit ultraviolet light depending on the product model and mode selected. Improper use, overexposure, incorrect distance, excessive frequency, failure to use required protective measures, or failure to follow the Written Instructions may result in serious injury.

This page summarizes important safety warnings. It does not replace the complete User Manual, warning labels, contraindications, exposure schedule, distance requirements, protective eyewear requirements, or other Written Instructions provided with your product.

1. Read All Instructions Before Use

Before using any Mitolux product, you must read and follow all product labeling, User Manual instructions, warning labels, contraindications, exposure schedules, distance requirements, maintenance instructions, and safety materials provided with the product.

2. Adult Use Only

Mitolux products are intended for adult users only.

Do not allow anyone under 18 years of age to use the product.

Do not use the product on infants, children, sleeping individuals, disabled individuals, unconscious individuals, or anyone unable or unwilling to understand and follow the Written Instructions.

3. Ultraviolet Exposure Risk

Some Mitolux products and modes may emit ultraviolet light.

Ultraviolet exposure may involve risks, including but not limited to:

• Eye injury;
• Skin injury;
• Burns;
• Overexposure injury;
• Photosensitivity reactions;
• Irritation;
• Aggravation of existing conditions;
• Other bodily harm;
• Property damage.

These risks may increase if the product is used too close to the body, for too long, too frequently, without required protective measures, or contrary to the Written Instructions.

4. Protective Eyewear Required

Protective eyewear is required whenever UVB mode is active or whenever directed by the User Manual or product instructions.

Do not look directly into the light.

When using the product near the face, eyes should remain closed at all times and all protective guidance in the User Manual must be followed.

Failure to use required protective eyewear or failure to follow eye-safety instructions may increase the risk of serious eye injury.

5. Distance, Time, Frequency, and Positioning

Use the product only at the distance, exposure time, frequency, positioning, and ventilation settings stated in the User Manual and Written Instructions.

Do not exceed the recommended exposure time.

Do not use the product closer than the minimum distance stated in the User Manual.

Do not use the product directly against the skin.

Using the product too close, too long, or too often may increase the risk of burns, irritation, overexposure, or other adverse effects.

6. Contraindications and Medical Considerations

Use the same precautions you would use with moderate sun exposure.

Do not use the product if:

• You have had cancer or are suspected of having cancer;
• Your doctor has advised you to avoid sun exposure;
• You are unable or unwilling to follow the Written Instructions;
• The product appears damaged, altered, malfunctioning, or unsafe.

You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before use if you have or suspect you may have:

• A skin-related medical history;
• A history of skin cancer or recurring basal or squamous cell carcinoma;
• UV light allergies or UV sensitivity;
• Photosensitivity concerns;
• Eye sensitivity;
• Use of photosensitizing medications;
• A history of significant UV exposure within the last 24 hours;
• Any medical condition, medication, or personal health circumstance that may increase sensitivity to light or UV exposure.

7. Stop Use If Adverse Effects Occur

Stop using the product and seek appropriate medical guidance if you experience:

• Eye discomfort;
• Skin irritation;
• Redness beyond the expected mild response;
• Burning sensation;
• Burns;
• Unusual skin reaction;
• Photosensitivity reaction;
• Headache, dizziness, or discomfort;
• Any other concerning symptoms.

Do not continue using the product if you experience adverse effects.

8. Fire, Heat, and Ventilation Safety

Do not operate the product near flammable or combustible products, vapors, aerosols, or materials.

Do not cover the cooling fans while the product is operating.

Use the product only in a properly ventilated area and only as directed.

Do not use the product with liniments, salves, ointments, balms, oils, or other topical products that contain heat-producing or photosensitizing ingredients unless the User Manual expressly allows such use.

9. Electrical Safety

Do not wash electrical parts with water or other liquids.

Do not use the product if it has been exposed to water or other liquids.

Do not touch plugs, switches, cords, or electrical components with wet hands.

Do not use the product with wet or damp skin.

Do not use the product if the cord, plug, housing, or any electrical component appears damaged.

If the product comes into contact with water or another liquid, unplug it immediately if it is safe to do so and do not continue use.

10. No Unauthorized Modifications or Repairs

Do not modify, tamper with, disassemble except as expressly permitted, repair through unauthorized persons, bypass safety features, or use non-approved accessories if doing so conflicts with the Written Instructions or product safety requirements.

Do not use the product if it appears damaged, altered, malfunctioning, or unsafe.

Mitolux products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Individual responses may vary.

Website content, product descriptions, FAQs, educational materials, protocols, customer-service communications, reviews, advertisements, videos, or social media content do not replace the User Manual, warning labels, contraindications, exposure schedule, distance requirements, or Written Instructions.

12. Required User Acknowledgment
