{% comment %} ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ SPECTRAFILL™ GUIDE & SUPPORT HUB templates/page.spectrafill-guide.liquid INSTALL: 1. Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes → Edit code 2. Create file: templates/page.spectrafill-guide.liquid → paste this whole file 3. Admin → Online Store → Pages → create/edit the page titled "SpectraFill Guide & Support Hub" → set Theme template to "page.spectrafill-guide" → Save 4. The page URL is controlled by the Page's handle in Shopify Admin. Set the handle to: spectrafill-guide → final URL: mitolux.com/pages/spectrafill-guide FILES YOU NEED TO UPLOAD (Admin → Settings → Files) — use these EXACT filenames, or edit the 4 assigns right below to match whatever you upload: - spectrafill-monitor-owners-manual.pdf - spectrafill-monitor-quick-start-guide.pdf - spectrafill-mobile-owners-manual.pdf - spectrafill-mobile-quick-start-guide.pdf ← confirm this exists; if not, either supply it or comment out that download card (marked below). DESIGN SYSTEM: built entirely from PM01_Design_System_v1.md (SpectraFill / For Monitor). All colors, type scale, spacing, buttons, cards, wavelength pills and mode-card styles are the approved production tokens — nothing improvised. Prefixed "sf-" (SpectraFill) to avoid clashing with other page/section styles already in the theme (e.g. the BTS2 "ml-" system). CONTENT SOURCE: every fact, spec, step and FAQ answer below is transcribed directly from the approved Owner's Manuals (For Monitor + Mobile, final PDFs) and the For Monitor Quick Start Guide. Nothing invented. Two shared sections (Research Library, Warranty & Safety) are written ONCE near the bottom and linked from both product blocks, since that content is word-for-word identical for both products — avoids duplicating ~27 citations and the full compliance disclaimer twice on one page. {% endcomment %} {%- assign monitor_manual_url = 'spectrafill-monitor-owners-manual.pdf' | file_url -%} {%- assign monitor_qsg_url = 'spectrafill-monitor-quick-start-guide.pdf' | file_url -%} {%- assign mobile_manual_url = 'spectrafill-mobile-owners-manual.pdf' | file_url -%} {%- assign mobile_qsg_url = 'spectrafill-mobile-quick-start-guide.pdf' | file_url -%} {%- assign monitor_image = 'https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0778/1063/0936/files/hero-banner-2.png?v=1784067944' -%} {%- assign mobile_image = 'https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0778/1063/0936/files/Hands_holding_phone_with_device_202607221159.jpg?v=1787075580' -%} {%- style -%} :root { /* ── Fondos ── */ --pm-black: #0C0C10; SpectraFill™ / For Monitor

The light your screen forgot.

Screen light ages skin and tires eyes. SpectraFill™ For Monitor is the full-spectrum, app-synced light system that clips onto your monitor — adding back the healthy wavelengths your screen leaves out by day, and taking blue light out of the equation by night.

SpectraFill™ For Monitor on a desk

The Sun Comes First

One promise before anything else: SpectraFill works with sunlight — never to replace it. Real daylight, outdoors, is how your body keeps time and renews itself, and no device can match that. SpectraFill is here for the indoor hours when you can't get outside.

  • Get outside in daylight every day, especially in the morning, ideally without sunglasses (don't look straight at the sun). This is your foundation.
  • Use SpectraFill for your screen hours, on top of that.

Even at full power, SpectraFill adds only a few percent of the light you'd get standing in outdoor shade. It's a supplement, not a sun — and that honesty is exactly why it works.

The Science

Why it works

Daylight has a full spectrum. Your screen doesn't. Screens build every image from just blue, green and red, and skip the rest. The violet your eyes use to keep time, and the red and near-infrared your cells use for energy and repair, are almost completely missing — in the violet range, a screen gives you hundreds of thousands of times less than outdoor shade. SpectraFill doesn't block your screen's light. It completes it.

What reaches your eyes Screen alone Screen + SpectraFill
Violet (daytime cue) Almost none Added
Red & near-infrared Almost none Added
Blue On its own Balanced

A note on how this works. The studies in our research library used a range of doses — some high, some low. SpectraFill operates at low, continuous intensity. At these levels, we don't claim the high-dose outcomes (collagen, anti-aging protocols). What low-dose, sustained light can plausibly engage is signaling — the light-sensing pathways in your eyes and skin that respond to the presence of a wavelength, not to a large dose of it. That's the mechanism we design for.

380 · 405 nm

Violet

A daytime signal that helps your eyes and body clock know it's daytime.

670 nm

Deep red

Supports the energy centers (mitochondria) in your eyes and skin, where screen light strains them most.

760 · 810 · 830 nm

Near-infrared

Invisible light in the wavelength range studied for cellular signaling and skin support — reaching a little deeper, passively, while you work.

We use exact wavelengths instead of a blurred mix, so the light is strong right where your body uses it. And there's no UVB — SpectraFill is made for your eyes, not as a tanning lamp.

And your skin

Screen light doesn't just tire your eyes — over the years it can age your skin, too. Screens and indoor LEDs are heavy on blue light but give off almost no infrared, and that missing infrared is part of what makes everyday screen light hard on skin. Outdoors, blue light always arrives paired with infrared; SpectraFill brings that pairing back to your desk. SpectraFill isn't a red-light panel or a face mask — those give an intense dose in one short session. It works the opposite way: a gentle, continuous dose of red and near-infrared while you work. Over a week of normal screen time that quietly adds up to a meaningful amount — enough to help support your skin's balance and resilience, with no extra routine.

Working with your body clock

Your body runs on a daily rhythm — your circadian rhythm — and it sets that rhythm mainly from the light your eyes take in. Bright, full-spectrum light says "daytime"; warm, dim light says "evening." Screens blur the signal: bright and blue-heavy late at night, missing the daytime wavelengths by day. SpectraFill helps put the rhythm back. By day, the bar adds the violet and full-spectrum light your body reads as a clear daytime cue. By evening and night, the Mitolux App eases blue out of your screen while the bar shifts to gentle red — a calmer signal as you wind down toward sleep. Used together with real daylight outdoors, your light finally matches the time of day, the way nature intended.

How to use

Setting up SpectraFill For Monitor

  1. 1. Mount. Rest the bar on top of your monitor so the counterbalance arm sits on the back edge. Slide it to center.
  2. 2. Connect. Plug in USB-C — any 5V/2A port or charger works. (Power only, no data.) The bar turns on automatically.
  3. 3. Power. Slide the button to turn on/off.
  4. 4. Select. Long-press the button to change mode; short-press to change brightness.
For monitors too thick for the arm, use the included double-sided stickers instead: clean the surface, then press firmly for 30 seconds.

What's included

  • SpectraFill bar (Model PM-01)
  • USB-C cable (5V/2A)
  • Double-sided mounting stickers
  • Quick Start Guide and Owner's Manual
  • Mitolux App for Windows & Mac, free — mitolux.com/pages/app

Does it fit my monitor?

It rests on most flat monitors 24" and up. For thicker frames, use the included stickers instead of the counterbalance arm.

A simple rule for brightness

Use the strongest setting your eyes are comfortable with for the light in your room. In a bright room that's usually a higher level; in a dim one, a lower one. A higher setting also gives a little more infrared — so when your eyes are happy with more, your skin gets a bit more, too.

Your day with SpectraFill

Time of day Bar mode / Mitolux App
Morning & workday Day / Day
Late afternoon / evening Night / Evening
Before bed Night / Night
Dark room or color work Invisible / As you like

Set the bar with a long-press; set the matching mode in the Mitolux App. Prefer not to think about it? Let the Mitolux App follow your local sunrise and sunset automatically.

Everyday tips

  • Sunlight first — get outside in daylight every day, ideally without sunglasses, so the full spectrum reaches your eyes.
  • Day mode for work; Night mode from the evening onward — and set the Mitolux App to match.
  • Skip blue-blockers by day — during daytime it's best not to wear blue-light or tinted glasses, since they also block the violet light (around 380nm) you want from both daylight and Day mode. If you prefer to wear glasses, choose UVA-passing lenses such as Vivarays.
  • Keep the bar just above your screen, facing you.
  • A little every day beats long, occasional sessions.

What to expect

First days

You'll likely notice your screen feels easier on the eyes, and your desk feels warmer and more comfortable.

First weeks

Using it feels natural — like opening a window you didn't realize was closed.

Over time

The benefits for your skin and cells build up slowly, the way sunlight does — from gentle, daily use.

Everyone is different, and light is just one part of a healthy day. The idea is simple: a little more of the right light, every day.

Safe by design

Built clean, on purpose

SpectraFill sits close to your eyes for hours, so we built it clean:

  • Flicker-free — steady light, no flicker or strobing (no PWM).
  • Low-EMF — designed to keep electrical emissions low at your desk.
  • Power only — USB-C power, no data, no wireless.
  • No UVB — and tested to the safest light-safety class (IEC 62471, Risk Group 0). Even its violet light stays far below international safety limits.

Care & maintenance

  • Clean the lens with a dry, soft microfiber cloth only — no liquids or sprays.
  • Keep away from moisture, steam, heat and direct sunlight.
  • Unplug by holding the connector, never the cable.
  • Store in a dry, padded place when not in use.

FAQ

SpectraFill™ For Monitor — frequently asked questions

Can I use it all day?

Yes. Day mode is made for all-day use, and SpectraFill is tested to the safest light-safety class.

Do I still need blue-light glasses?

At night, no — the Mitolux App's Evening and Night modes calm your screen at the source. By day it's better to go without blue-blockers, since they also block the violet light you want; if you do wear glasses by day, choose UVA-passing lenses such as Vivarays.

Will it replace going outside?

No. Real daylight is the foundation; SpectraFill is for your indoor hours. Get outside in daylight every day.

Does it fit my monitor?

It rests on most flat monitors 24" and up. For thicker frames, use the included stickers.

Is the violet light UV?

There's no UVB. The violet you see is mostly visible light, kept far below international safety limits.

Can I use it in a dark room?

Yes — turn the brightness down, or use Invisible mode for no visible light at all.

Why isn't the light very bright?

It doesn't need to be. The goal is the right wavelengths at a gentle, safe dose — not a bright lamp.

Does the Mitolux App cost anything?

No. It's free for Windows and Mac at mitolux.com/pages/app.

What's the difference vs. SpectraFill Mobile?

Both share the same six wavelengths. For Monitor is for desk use, hands-free. See SpectraFill Mobile →

The Sun Comes First

One promise before anything else: SpectraFill Mobile works with sunlight — never to replace it. Real daylight, outdoors, is how your body keeps time and renews itself, and no device can match that. SpectraFill Mobile is here for the indoor hours when you can't get outside.

  • Get outside in daylight every day, especially in the morning, ideally without sunglasses (don't look straight at the sun). This is your foundation.
  • Use SpectraFill Mobile for your phone and tablet hours, on top of that.

Even at full power, SpectraFill Mobile adds only a few percent of the light you'd get standing in outdoor shade. It's a supplement, not a sun — and that honesty is exactly why it works.

{%- comment -%} ── Mobile / The Science ── {%- endcomment -%}
The Science

Why it works

Daylight has a full spectrum. Your phone doesn't. Screens build every image from just blue, green and red, and skip the rest. The violet your eyes use to keep time, and the red and near-infrared your cells use for energy and repair, are almost completely missing — in the violet range, a screen gives you hundreds of thousands of times less than outdoor shade. SpectraFill Mobile doesn't block your screen's light. It completes it.

What reaches your eyes Screen alone Screen + SpectraFill Mobile
Violet (daytime cue) Almost none Added
Red & near-infrared Almost none Added
Blue On its own Balanced

A note on how this works. The studies in our research library used a range of doses — some high, some low. SpectraFill Mobile operates at low, continuous intensity.

Invisible light in the wavelength range studied for cellular signaling and skin support — reaching a little deeper, passively, while you use your device.

And your skin

Screen light doesn't tire your eyes only — over the years it can age your skin, too. Phones and tablets are heavy on blue light but give off almost no infrared, and that missing infrared is part of what makes everyday screen light hard on skin. Outdoors, blue light always arrives paired with infrared; SpectraFill Mobile brings that pairing back to your hand. It isn't a red-light panel or a face mask — those give an intense dose in one short session. It works the opposite way: a gentle, continuous dose of red and near-infrared while you use your device. Over a week of normal phone use that quietly adds up to a meaningful amount — enough to help support your skin's balance and resilience, with no extra routine.

Working with your body clock

Your body runs on a daily rhythm — your circadian rhythm — set mainly by the light your eyes take in. Bright, full-spectrum light says "daytime"; warm, dim light says "evening." Screens blur the signal by missing the daytime wavelengths. SpectraFill Mobile helps put the rhythm back: by day it adds the violet and full-spectrum cue your body reads as daytime; in the evening, the Mitolux App eases blue out of your screen while you switch the bar down to Night mode — a calmer signal as you wind toward sleep. Used together with real daylight outdoors, your light finally matches the time of day, the way nature intended.
