We’re honored. Outliyr’s in-depth roundup, “The 13+ Best Red Light Therapy Devices for Home Use,” ranks Mitolux Better Than Sunshine (BTS2) as Best Overall for 2025.
Why Outliyr put Mitolux at the top
Outliyr highlights Mitolux BTS2 for its uncommon combination of UVB (295 nm) + red + near-infrared wavelengths and thoughtful safety features. This full-spectrum approach brings key elements of sunlight into a single, home-friendly lamp—standing out for build quality, ease of use, and responsible UVB design.
What this means for you
- One device, more possibilities: Enjoy UVB (the “sunshine vitamin” band) alongside red/NIR for daily wellness—without juggling multiple gadgets.
- Built-in safety & guidance: Timers, clear presets, and distance-awareness help you use UVB responsibly at home.
- Simple routines: Start low, increase gradually, and follow the usage guidance by skin type and goals for a smooth, consistent experience.
Mitolux devices are designed for general wellness and are not medical devices. Always follow the product instructions and consult your health professional if you have specific conditions or use photosensitizing medications.
BTS2 vs. LITE — which one’s for you?
- BTS2 (Best Overall): Our most complete option, combining UVB + red/NIR with smart safeguards—ideal if you want the most capability and faster, more versatile sessions.
- Mito LITE: Compact and travel-friendly. Keeps the core UVB + red/NIR experience and easy presets—perfect for desks, bedside tables, and smaller spaces.
How to get started (in 3 steps)
- Pick your model: BTS2 for “everything in one,” or LITE for smaller spaces.
- Place & protect: Set your lamp at the recommended distance and wear the included eye protection during UVB use.
- Ease in: Begin with shorter sessions and build gradually according to your skin tone and goals.
