Mitolux named "Best At-Home Photobiomodulation Light Device in the United States of 2026”

We've always believed that structured, consistent daily light isn't a wellness trend — it's a biological requirement the modern world largely eliminated. This recognition from Evergreen Awards is a reflection of that conviction, made real in a device.

Evergreen Awards has named Mitolux the Best At-Home Photobiomodulation Light Device in the United States of 2026. The recognition is based on Mitolux's multi-spectrum design approach, its usability in everyday home environments, the clarity of its product communication, and its contribution to making structured light exposure accessible outside of clinical settings.

What the Evaluation Considered

The photobiomodulation category is growing fast — and with it, the bar for what a well-designed at-home device actually needs to deliver. Evergreen Awards evaluated devices on the factors that matter in real daily use: not just specs, but how effectively a device translates light science principles into something a person can consistently apply at home.

The review noted that most devices in the at-home photobiomodulation space focus on either red light or near-infrared light in isolation. Mitolux was recognized specifically for its multi-spectrum approach — combining red, near-infrared, and UVB in a single integrated system — placing it in a distinct subset of devices designed for broader, more comprehensive daily light exposure.

The evaluation also highlighted Mitolux's communication standards — recognizing that the brand maintains a wellness-oriented, non-clinical framework that aligns with regulatory expectations for consumer devices. In Evergreen's words, this supports "clear separation from clinical or diagnostic positioning" while keeping user expectations grounded and transparent.

Why This Recognition Matters to Us

When Guti started developing Mitolux — after years studying light as a professional photographer, and after experiencing firsthand what returning to daily sun exposure did for his own energy and stability — the question driving the design was simple: why does a category this important have products this incomplete?

Most devices were either narrowly focused, built for clinical environments, or priced in a way that made them inaccessible to the people who needed them most. The BTS2 was built to close that gap: UVB, red light, and near-infrared — in one device, designed for real daily use at home.

Evergreen Awards evaluated exactly that design intent. This recognition confirms that the approach holds up under independent scrutiny — on technology, on usability, and on the transparency of how we communicate what this device is and what it isn't.

This Is the Beginning

The Awards pillar on this blog exists for a reason. We're actively building a recognition portfolio — not to collect logos, but to hold ourselves accountable to standards beyond our own. Every award we pursue is a commitment: to products that perform as described, claims we can stand behind, and communication that doesn't overpromise.

The Evergreen Award is part of our first entry. More to come.
